I discovered this man made waterfall quite by accident while
looking for access to my nearby Train Bridge cache. It appears that
it was created as a result of coal mining operations. The cache is
easily accessed from a old road off of the Midland Road. It ends
near the waterfall. You will have to cross the brook above the
waterfall to get to the cache. I crossed on the beaver dam just
upstream from it but one could easily wade the brook immediately
above the falls with the proper boots or in low water.
The cache is housed in a Nalgene bottle and contains a log book,
pencil, stash note, and a few trading items. Enjoy!
