Tribute to Earl - A Tale of 2 Cities - HF Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

GR8Caches: It is with great reluctance I am archiving this cache. I was going to move it but many of the move options I thought about will take some planning and change the cache enough that a new hide is more warranted. Thanks to all those who found this cache. It was our 5th hide ever on Jan. 15, 2007. Earl passed away a few years ago and is no longer the muggle keeper of this cache and with that it does seem fitting to let it go.

Geocache Description:

You do not need to move or re-move anything in finding this cache!

This cache started its life as "Tale of Two Cities - Harpers Ferry" It was one part of the 3 cache puzzle series. As time went by it got difficult to keep the Bolivar cache from being muggled. So with the series gone I needed to change this cache name and page write up. So I am keeping this cache and renaming it. This is a great location for many reasons. One of the best reasons was the cache has a local muggle keeper. He sits on his porch and watches for others that do the cache and loves to help them. So if you are having trouble finding this cache look to the porch near you and if you see an older man sitting there say hi to Earl. We are very sorry but we have been told that Earl has passed away.

PLEASE, you will not need to move or re-move anything to find this! Do not mess with the stone work!

Be sure to check out the Band Stand and you might be able to locate a bench mark as well. There is also a canon to keep away the confederates or the union, it just depends on which day of the civil war it was.

The container is small so bring your own pencil/pen. It is not micro-micro, and it might even be big enough for a small coin?

First to Find goes to hkids4!
