Geocache Description:

The cache is in a tree that is about 50 feet off the road. There is a nice place to park and rarely any traffic on this backroad. The tree is located about 10 feet in the brush, and on the opposite side of the tree from the road. So if you are a shorty you may have to stand on something. The cache is a small camo container on a silver chain and key ring.

This is a nice cache with some history to look at as well.

ON CR 241 is the historic and picturesque MEDIO CREEK BRIDGE (Also known as the Normanna Bridge)

The bridge was the idea of Viggo Kohler, a man who later built the large Viggo Hotel in Hebbronville (1915). He petitioned the Bee County Commissioners to accept bids in June of 1897. The bridge arrived in kit form and was assembled by the Austin Brothers Bridge Company.

The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 and became a Recorded Texas Historical Landmark in 1987

The container is a small camo container with a screw off lid. It is just big enough for a log and a travel bug, or possibly a small coin. For the first find I have my yellow compass travel bug inside of it. The cache is to small to hold any type of pen or pencil so please bring your own. Right now the historic marker has been vandalized and is not available for viewing, but I spoke with TxDot and they said they were working on a new on.
