In the Ashland Town Forest. Parking available on Winter Street. The cache is located less than 200 feet off the marked trail.
The Ashland granite quarries were active in the late 1800's. Granite from these quarries was used in the construction of most of the local mill buildings. The site of the granite quarries was a local attraction in the late 1800's, but only people who brave the Ashland Town Forest are able to see the quarries today
