Current Goal

Wenlock is a outgoing Travel Bug. He got to the UK when he fell into the ocean and landed on shore at the UK. Wenlock is key chain with a heart next to it. He wants to get back home but before he does that he has a couple of things he wants to see and do.

  • Visit the Hampton Court Palace because he wants to see if its brave enough to go in there.
  • Visit a museum in Glasgow.
  • He also likes many sports and and he would like to take a picture next to the Flaming Torch or where it was because he wants to see the torch for at least once in its life.
  • Our other goals are to take a far away picture close to the Eiffel Tower.
  • His last trip would be to get his picture taken on the London Eye or far away including him in the picture.
  • Lastly, he would think he has traveled to much and would like to come back home to Chalone Peaks Middle School in King City.
I think these would be really fun places for Wenlock to visit while he's there and before he comes back home.

About This Item

This travel bug is part of a larger student project involving several classes around the world. It was originally released in the “Olympic Summer” of 2012 somewhere in the UK by two teachers visiting from the United States. This bug has several goals, one of which is to return home to a cache near Chalone Peaks Middle School in California called Cape KC Geo bug Launch Pad.

A student team has developed a series of five goals that can be completed in any order. The team receives rewards for each goal reached. They have also documented their bug’s plight and reasons for wanting to return home. Please do what you can to help this little guy move along and accomplish its goals as quickly as possible.
