Solar Eclipse Event
April 7th 2024, 10:00 - 12:00
Welcome to our first event! This event was made in honor of the 2024 total solar eclipse (the last total solar eclipse over the contiguous United States for 20 years!), which will occur the day after the event (Monday, April 8). Please read more about the event below.
Solar Eclipse Information
This event will occur the day before the solar eclipse. Hopefully, by the end of the event, you will have enough knowledge of the solar eclipse to view it safely and appreciate it fully the next day. We will be using some resources of our own creation and some NASA websites to help explain the processes of the solar eclipse. You can view everything we will use in the links below.

Event FTF Prizes
Due to the fact that Ragle is completely full of caches, with no places to hide new ones, there will NOT be a cache published for the event. However, to fulfill your FTF needs for that day, there will be THREE CACHERS randomly picked from the PAPER LOG at the event to claim this cache as a FTF. Make sure to sign the paper log (legibly, please) before the end of the event to be entered into the drawing. The cachers will be picked after the event and listed in an event announcement log, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
Puzzle Cache Assistance
We recently published our first puzzle cache: Trackables and Geocoins (GCAKW5P) in Ragle Park. If you have not yet found the cache or attempted the puzzle, we will be happy to provide some help or even walk you through the puzzle-solving process so you can go and get the cache.
Additional Information
For anyone that munzees as well as caches, we will post a couple of munzees for the event.
If you want food or drink, bring your own. We may have a cooler with water, but not much else.
There will be a spot to trade or discover trackables. However, I don't want to end up with a million trackables at the end of the event. If you drop off a trackable, please take another one.
There is free parking along the streets near the park. Otherwise, you can pay a small fee to park in the parking lot.
