Maritime Greenwich
The Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site comprises the historic town centre, Royal Park and related institutional buildings. The buildings at Greenwich and their landscape setting, including the Royal Park, are a great demonstration of English artistic, scientific and other institutional endeavour, mainly from the 17th to late 19th centuries. The Site has evolved through the years, having held a former royal palace until around 1670. The Queen’s House, by Inigo Jones, was the first Palladian building in England, while the Old Royal Naval College, designed initially by Sir Christopher Wren, is a grand building in the ‘English Baroque’ style.
Parking can be an expensive nightmare in Greenwich, so if you can use public transport I would advise it. There are some car parks and even some roadside parking, but it can fill up very quickly.
This Wherigo requires you to visit 7 of the major sights of Greenwich, outside of the Park, and answer a simple question at each location. Having visited all the locations and answered at least 6 of the questions correctly the location of the cache will be revealed. The zones in this cache are all on the flat, but it will take about an hour to visit them all and find the cache - thus the terrain rating. The whole walk is on pavements or surfaced footpaths, so would be possible in a wheelchair. I have not marked it as wheelchair friendly as I don't think a wheelchair user could retrieve the cache.

TIME RESTRICTIONS - This Wherigo can only be played when the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College are open (currently 8:00 to 23:00). The grounds to the Maritime Museum are locked around 17:30 to 18:30 depending on the season. If the gates are locked you will not be able to visit the normal zones, but have a talk with the Gatekeeper (in the Wherigo inventory), who should be able to help you. The cache, a bison attached magnetically, is to the west of Greenwich and is outside the locked areas, thus available at all times.
