Going to the Farm - Canby Coin Challenge 2017 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Razzl3&Dazzl3: As Thanksgiving approach’s I am reminded of the things to be thankful for. For instance, I am thankful for the wonderful property owner whom allowed this geocache to be placed here as part of the 2017 Canby Coin Challenge. I am also thankful for the fun run this geocache had, in the geocaching community.

Sadly though, to often geocacher’s and some non geocacher’s alike, have not observed the posted sign for the hours of operation. Due to this and out of respect for the land owner, we have decide to remove and archive this and the other geocaches here at the farm. Thanks to Papa-Penguin, 3Muddogs and Lady Orca and Charlie 2, for being a part all the caching fun on the farm!

Thank you to all, who did come out to find them and for the favorites you have awarded them. We hope to one day have these back in play.

Happy Caching!!

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Canby, Oregon's Geocaching Coin Challenge. We take great pride in our community, and as Geocacher's, we try to find fun and interesting spots. To help us maintain where each cache is located, please be respectful of the surroundings. Try to use stealth when looking for the cache container and place the cache back in its hiding spot. Cache placed with the owners permission.

Canby Coin Challenge 2017

Welcome Geocachers to Canby's 2017 Coin Challenge brought to you by Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory and the Canby Area Chamber of Commerce. The coin highlights Oregon Wine Country with Mt. Hood as a backdrop. It's a pretty snazzy design if we say so ourselves. And there are two metal colors to choose from, silver nickel or copper.

There are a total of 400 coins; 300 of silver and 100 of copper. We respectfully request that only one coin be claimed per family.

Big thanks to AmyGems for the good looking coin design and for setting up this new challenge and to the cachers who let us borrow their sites.
