This is a 2-stage cache in Fountainhead Regional Park that involves a 3-mile round trip hike.
Calling all Northern Virginia detectives: as you have discovered there has been a murder: NoVABob, may he find peace (well, given his life we're pretty sure he's not going to DNF it). In order to continue the inquiry your presence is required at the scene of the crime, deep in the woods of Fountainhead.
When the body removal unit was in action, they found a suspicious subject wandering the area, mumbling almost incoherently. He would only be identified by his initials: JJS. He reported, via grunts and clicks and pointing at a map we produced, that he spotted a suspicious object near some falls along a creek. Your task: find this object and record what it is. The red star on the map you receive is an approximation. Then, move along to the last known spot from which the assailant was seen...further instructions await you.
Take note of the clue, but don’t take the clue, in the cache container.
To receive the directions on how to complete the next cache in the series, you have two options (both options return the same info):
