Geocache Description:

Tricky Tree 02

This is the second of a series of caches hidden in the bush in the general region between Old Farm Road and Marlyn and Jubilee Roads, South Hobart. The Cascade Walking Track passes through the area and there are also old 4WD roads and lots of other tracks etc. The caches are usually located within 10 m of one of these tracks/old roads - the trick is to find the correct one amongst so many.

The hiding place for each cache is associated with a tree. Please bring a pen. There are no swaps. In some cases an extraction tool (like tweezers) might be helpful. Not surprisingly the caches are under tree cover and this will probably interfere with GPSR reception. Additionally the 'trickiness' of the hiding place increases as the series progresses .

There are 7 Tricky Tree caches in this series, one for each day of the week. If you wish to have all your Tricky Tree finding fun in one day you will need to walk about 4 km. There is also another Barad Bunch cache in the area (Old Log Bridge (WSSS 02)).
