Älgjakt i Tuvabo

Ni som varit vid Kättemad (GC5H9EJ) känner till Gustav Andersson på Sjöhemmet och hans skrönor. En historia värdig Gustav är den om älgjakten i Tuvabo.

1937, tre år innan Gustav flyttade in på Sjöhemmet sköts den första älgen i Tånnötrakten just i Tuvabo. Stolta jägare fraktade ner älgen till den lokala affären för allmän beskådan.

Älgarna som var kvar blev förskräckta, tänk om någon skulle hitta skatten som tillhör skogens konung?! De tre älgarna som nu bor där är mycket rädda om sin skatt som är ordentligt låst. För att förvilla skattletare har dom varsin nyckel till skatten, men bara en av dom kan öppna låset. Kan du hitta den? Älgarna håller sig alltid nära skatten, mer än fem meter ifrån den gillar dom inte att vara. De passar gärna på att mumsa i sig lite granbarr när chansen ges.

Moosehunt at Tuvabo

In 1937, three years before Gustav moved to Sjöhemmet, the first moose was shot in the Tånnö area, this happened right here at Tuvabo. Axel Adamsson is pictured with the moose above. The proud hunters brought the moose down to the local store for public display.

The remaining moose were terrified, what if someone stole the treasure belonging to the king of the forest?! The three moose who live here today are very cautious of their treasure even though it is properly locked up. In order to throw treasure hunters off the trail they keep one key each but only one of them opens the lock. Can you find it? The moose always stay close to their treasure, they don't like being more than five meters away from it. When they have the chance they enjoy eating from the branches of the spruce trees.
