United States Battleship Final
This puzzle requires you to find all fifteen traditional geocaches in this series. Each geocache contains a code that is required to determine the location of this final geocache. A little basic math skills are all that is required.
Each geocache (including this final) is located in a Rochester city park. This will help you complete the Rochester City Park Challenge (GC2WCQ1) geocache. U.S. battleships are named after 48 of the 50 states in the union. These state name finds will also help you complete the Americium - Touring America (GC3C6X4) challenge geocache. Did I mention that Americium is an element (GC2P5TJ)??
Along with your fifteen finds, I hope you learn at least a little bit about the history of battelships in the U.S. Navy. The USS Arizona and the USS Missouri are the "bookends" of this series. While not all of these ships participated in World War II, the sinking of the Arizona represents the beginning of U.S. involvement and the Missouri hosted the Japanese surrender which brought that war to a close.
