Introduced to caching by a running buddy, TrailRunning took to the sport at a dash with his first 1,000 caches found in Victorian Record time.
When asked, he said he particularly likes solving hard puzzle caches, and collecting high terrain caches. Initially he cached alone, but found that caching with others was much quicker and more fun.
After teaming up with the famous night caching team of Blacklegend and Quasar3671, they decided to form The Demolition Crew. In 2012, the Crew asked Rebel Acts to join in on the fun, and now consists of four members, with a few affiliate members. The Crew caches every Monday night in Melbourne starting around 5 pm and ending at 4am Tuesday morning, and aims to collect all caches within 100km of the Melbourne GPO.
TrailRunning has continued to cache at a rate of over 7 per day, with his longest streak being 371 consecutive caching days. He has completed all the difficulty/terrain squares (Project 81), and has recently passed his 8,000 finds, in just over three years of caching.
