Geocache Description:

This cache is in the Yankee Springs Recreation Area. Recreation Passport or daily fee required.

Just down the path from the Hall Lake boat Launch.

I've had 6 FTFs in the last two months on island/kayak caches. The strange thing about all but one of them is they had been sitting unfound for at least a couple of weeks (almost 6 weeks for the first one) without any attempts. This seemed odd to me. So, I put on my gray-matter accelerator cap and I think I figured out why...

Most cachers probably believe it isn't worth their time to get a boat, cart it to the launch, spend up to an hour rowing/paddling to the cache, for just one Found It

I have the solution.
