The Old Bridge Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Isonzo Karst: It's had an interesting run this cache. Nice gallery. Today Bob and I paddled up from Sargeant's on a too windy day. I was able to hook the cable with a golf club, but the wind was so strong that I just couldn't keep my boat in position to pull it up. So Bob just waded in and pulled the can, (later he capsized on the river and dumped it... it's out there in the Hillsborough somewhere). This space for rent.

Geocache Description:

Ammo can cache on the old bridge to Big Pine Island

Boat or hike. Getting wet is strong possibility, though a person might be able to do this from a boat and remain kinda dryish.

Mask, UW light, hook or 5 iron might be handy.
I guess I could rate this 5/5. But the equipment needed isn't really special, and some may simply canoodle it.

Gage heights for river water levels vary from 23.5 to 30 feet in the last 2 years.
Height at time cache set, 25.2 ft
At gage heights above 26.5 ft, just forget about it. Check gage here.

My thanks to duracell for first bringing me here.
