Geocache Description:

March 23, 2015 Update: We have decided to lay this series to rest soon and open all the spots this series holds for new geocaches. Since many are still working toward the final, we are giving plenty of advanced notice but early this summer (June to maybe July) will be your last chance.

The Muppet Show - Muppet Show Series FINAL (GC3H7QH)

Dr. Bunsen Honeydew worked alone for the first season of The Muppet Show. He was given his assistant, Beaker in the second season.

Bunsen Beaker

Dr. Bunsen Honeydew was the resident scientist on the show, and his enthusiasm over his latest experiment (such as a gorilla detector, exploding clothes, edible paper clips, a banana sharpener, hair-growing tonic, and a machine that can turn gold into cottage cheese) often made him surge ahead carelessly, getting Beaker injured in the process.

Bunson Beaker Strip

Beaker was a great assistant. Kermit described Beaker by "If There's Anyone Who's Gonna Get Hurt, It's Gonna be Beaker". Beaker has been shrunk, cloned, punched, deflated, zapped, turned invisible, and blown up, but he always comes back for more. One of my favorite "Beaker" moments can be found in the popular, award-winning 2008 viral video "Ode to Joy." Beaker performed the song in a split-screen number: playing violin, timpani, metronome, and vocals (replacing the lyrics with extended "Meemeee"-ing). Inevitably, disaster ensues. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpcUxwpOQ_A
