Is there Camping? You betcha! Camping is available August
26th-28th!
Join your fellow geocachers for a fun-filled weekend with
caching, tent camping, and a caching competition to boot!!
And if you're a camper, there are over 100 tent camp sites
available on Friday, August 26 from 3pm to Sunday, August 28 @
3pm!! Camping is just 4 dollars per night and there's ample parking
for day trippers. Bike and hike the trails along the Kankakee
River.
And what about caching? There are over 100 caches within the
Kankakee area! So start making your plans now!
Note: Only tent camping is available and there is no
parking next to the camp sites.
GONIL will be collecting and remitting camping fees.

Park Restrictions
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the park at all
times.
- Because the Kankakee River is unpredictable with its fast
current, drop offs and rocky bottom, no swimming is allowed in the
park in any area, including Rock Creek.
- All motorized vehicles are prohibited on all of the Kankakee
River State Park Trails. Motorized vehicles are not allowed on the
bicycle trail.
- Quiet Hours are 10pm - 7am. No vehicle traffic is allowed.
