Welcome to
spring!!
It is that time of the year,
when we come out of hibernation and start caching again! So what
better way than to start the warm weather season then with a cacher
“family” reunion and a hike to a cache?
Location:
Reno Horse Campground,
from La Crescent, Mn. Follow the river road to Reno and turn right
on Hillside Drive and follow it for about a mile and a half to the
campground.
Time:
Meet about 10:30 Am,
Lunch and then hike about 1 to 1:30ish
Depending on the time and weather, we may have a bonfire
also.

You and your fellow
cachers! Spread the word; let’s make this a fun
event!

Details:
The plan is to have a meet and
greet in the morning with a potluck style lunch, we will have
grills on site or bring your own along with a dish to pass. The
campground is pretty rustic, so be prepared for that.
The thought is to hike to the
following cache: GCZXQZ (http://coord.info/GCZXQZ) as a
group. There will be other caches in the area that will be hidden
prior to this event so for those of you who have already done this
cache there will be others for you to go after.
We are planning on covering all the bases for
anyone that forgets something as this is pretty far from anywhere
in the area. In case of rain plan on the hike continuing otherwise
we wouldn’t be true cachers would we?
Please in your
attendance log state what you plan to bring to the potluck if you
plan on bringing something. And remember this campground is
pretty primitive!
