Geocache Description:

Help clean up the Bonnyvale Picnic Area at Royal National Park on Clean Up Australia Day.

Geocaching NSW invites all members and non-members to join us in a clean up of the Bonnie Vale campground, close to the township of Bundeena in Royal National Park.

Due to the current restrictions on geocaching in NSW National Parks, this is a strictly 'Trash Out' event (i.e. no geocaching).

You can also register on the Clean Up Australia website.

The clean up starts at 10 am 10:30 am and finishes at 12 noon.

Ensure you bring gloves, sunscreen, sensible clothing and footwear, water and a camera.

There is no charge for entering Royal NP, but you must travel to Bundeena - i.e. no stopping and heading out for a walk.

The nearest parking space is located close to the Bundeena shops and ferry terminal.

Alternatively, park at Cronulla and catch a ferry across to Bundeena - see Cronulla Ferries website.

This event has been organised in co-operation with Ranger Damien Dubrowin from the Royal National Park.

The association believes this and future co-operative projects will assist in developing a good relationship between geocachers and the NSW Parks and Wildlife Service.

BTW - bring your lunch and swimmers as there is a great beach nearby.

Geocaching NSW is also hosting another Clean Up Australia Day CITO event at William Lawson Reserve, Blacktown.

Any questions? Please email the association (contact AT geocachingnsw.asn.au).

Geocaching NSW is a registered not-for-profit incorporated association.
