Geocache Description:

The Virginia Park Pond cache is the sixth in a series of caches that highlight some of the publicly accessible but little known ponds in and around London. The caches are all found in close proximity to and with a great view of the pond. The terrain is easy, parking is close by, but the puzzle to find the coordinates of the cache is challenging.

The initial coordinates are in the centre of this beautiful pond in the Stoneybrook Heights residential subdivision of northeast London. Parking is along Repton St. (N 43o02.305, W 81o16.002) As I was placing the cache, I spied 15 ducks and one great blue heron, resting peacefully on the shore, taking in a few rays. The pond's perimeter has been planted with numerous trees, but is also overrun with weeds, especially prickly burr plants. On the north side of the pond, there are several homes overlooking your geocaching search. Be stealthy, as you never know who might be watching you from a window.

In order to solve this puzzle, you have to decode the following series of codes. If correctly decoded, they will take you to the final coordinates and the hidden cache. You will have a great view of the pond from this location.

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

The cache has several toys to trade, but it is a small cache and can hold only small items.

Please take the opportunity to visit some or all of the other eleven pond puzzle caches in the series. And when you log your find, be sure to mention what sort of birds or wildlife you encounter on your trek.

Congrats to thebearcat for the FTF.
