One cold February afternoon, I looked out the window and wondered if anyone was going to find Don’t Fen Me IN before the spring thaw. That evening, my email was inundated with emails from five different people that took advantage of the frozen terrain to locate the little gem.
The intrepid hunters all met at the trailhead that frosty morning but couldn’t agree on a method of transportation. They compromised by using the equipment they had brought with them. The merry band of seekers (including CanPaddle) were proud of their gear and wanted to show it off to the others, especially the dog sled. Before they left they all grabbed a different color pencil from a box to sign the log. That way they knew that each individual actually made the trek to the hide and survived the return journey.

Neither the geocacher that signed the log in red nor the one that used a green pencil is the poor soul that tried to use ice skates. AerosmithPA, who didn’t use a red pencil, didn’t use cross-country skis.

The geocacher that used the yellow pencil, who isn’t Cushman Rider, gleefully trekked out using his brand new cross-country skis.

Mom&Son (who didn’t have the red pencil) trudged out on snowshoes.

Microhunter had a blast with his snowmobile and was the first to get there so everybody saw his purple signature in the logbook.
BE AWARE. I used the names of those that have visited Don’t Fen Me IN for this puzzle. All similarities end there. Looking at "Don’t Fen Me IN will not help to solve this logic puzzle.

There are six geocaches in this series, including two puzzle caches. The traditional caches are BRAVO, KILO, QUEBEC, VICTOR, and the puzzle caches are HOTEL and ZULU. You will need to find all of them in order to find the eastern final which has half of the information to find Finally Done Death Marching with Esko, the last of the fifteen caches in this series.
The Death Marching with Esko series are located around the Fond du Lac State Forest Ski Trail. PLEASE do not walk in the ski track during the winter, walk along side the cross country ski track. The trail intersections waypoints are listed on Death Marching with Esko - Western Final and on Death Marching with Esko - Eastern Final as well as the parking lot coordinates.
