Diese Grünbrücke überspannt die vielbefahrene Landstraße L284 / Rösrather Straße zwischen Rösrath und Köln-Rath. Sie ist etwa 16 Meter breit und 80 Meter lang und wurde 2012 im Rahmen des NRW-Projektes "Ländlicher Raum 2007-2013" gebaut. Zusammen mit einer ähnlichen, etwas südlicher liegenden Grünbrücke über die Autobahn A3 verbindet sie die beiden Naturschutzgebiete Wahner Heide und Königsforst. Lange Zeit war es den Tieren nicht möglich, zwischen den eigentlich zusammengehörenden Gebiete zu wechseln.

Direkt an der Grünbrücke kann nicht geparkt werden! Bitte benutzt die unten angegebenen Parkkoordinaten. Von da aus führt ein Fuß- und Radweg an der Straße entlang zur Brücke.
This wildlife bridge spans the busy road L284 / Rösrather Straße between Rösrath and Köln-Rath. It is about 16 meters wide and 80 meters long and was built in 2012 as part of the NRW project "Rural Area 2007-2013". Together with a similar, slightly more southerly wildlife bridge over the A3 motorway, it connects the two nature reserves Wahner Heide and Königsforst. For a long time it was not possible for the animals to switch between the actually connected areas.

Directly at the wildlife bridge you can not park! Please use the parking coordinates given below. From there, a foot and cycle path leads along the road to the bridge.
