Granite Peak is Montana's highest point. Considered by many to be one of the toughest high points of the 50 state high points to reach. It requires 20-24 mile roundtrip hike culminating with a Class IV+ rock climb. There are two approached that are equally challenging. A good description can be found here: (visit link)
