I started gsmhiker.net back in February as a place to upload and share some of the nature photography I've taken while traveling the US and, of course, Geocaching. Previously, I had a site set up on Blogspot, but I got tired of comment spam and wanted more control over the way the blog integrated with the website, so I taught myself the basics of PHP over about a 2-week period and installed an open source blogging engine. Yeah, it needs to be updated a little more frequently, but I stay pretty busy and have very little free time to work on it (don't we all...)
The blog itself is mostly random observations and happenings in my life, much like millions of other blogs out there.
