"Original, silencieux, écologique, le gyropode Segway est une nouvelle façon de se déplacer. Accessible a tous, et très facile d'utilisation, le gyropode Segway est en mesure de vous accompagner n'importe où.
Le Segway est un véhicule électrique composé de deux roues parallèles et d’un guidon inclinable. Bourrée d'électronique, la machine tient en équilibre grâce à une technologie appelée "Stabilisation Dynamique".
Pour avancer, nulle poignée ou pédale d’accélération : il suffit de se pencher en avant pour avancer et en arrière pour freiner et reculer. Quant à la direction, c’est le guidon qui s’incline de gauche à droite.
L’activité commence par une formation de 30 minutes afin que tout les participants soit à l’aise sur le gyropode Segway pour profiter pleinement du plaisir de la balade.
Une fois la formation terminée, nous partons pour l’une des balades suivantes:
PARCOURS DÉCOUVERTE 1H
Durée totale 1h30 : 30 minutes de formation + 1h de balade
La balade "Segway Découverte" est une introduction idéale tant à la pratique du gyropode Segway qu’à la ville de Lyon. Après une formation d’une vingtaine de minutes, partez pour 1h de balade afin de perfectionner votre pilotage tout en découvrant la ville.
PARCOURS HISTORIQUE 1H30
Durée totale 2h00 : 30 minutes de formation + 1h30 de balade
Remontez plus de 2 000 ans d’Histoire et partez à la découverte des monuments emblématiques de Lyon. De Sathonay au Vieux Lyon en passant par la presqu’île et les berges de Rhône, la balade vous emmène à la rencontre des différents quartiers historiques inscrits au patrimoine mondial Unesco. Un parcours au fil du temps qui vous fera découvrir les richesses de la ville.
PARCOURS TÊTE D'OR 2H
Durée totale 2h30 : 30 minutes de formation + 2h de balade
Par la voie verte des berges du Rhône, rejoignez le parc de la Tête d’Or et ses 105 hectares de verdure. Que ce soit le lac, la plaine africaine ou le jardin botanique, vous découvrirez les nombreuses surprises que recèle le parc. Enfin, la Cité Internationale et les bords de Saône compléteront votre balade. La nature à deux pas du centre ville ! Nous vous proposons de découvrir un engin de transport innovant au cours d’une promenade permettant de visiter plusieurs quartiers de Lyon."

The Segway is an electric vehicle consisting of two parallel wheels and a reclining handlebar. Bourrée of electronics, the machine balances thanks to a technology called "Dynamic Stabilization".
To move forward, no handle or accelerator pedal: just lean forward to move forward and back to brake and back. As for the steering, it's the handlebar that tilts from left to right.
The activity begins with a 30 minute training so that all participants are comfortable on the Segway to enjoy the pleasure of the ride.

The "Segway Découverte" ride is an ideal introduction to both the Segway Segway and the City of Lyon. After a training of about twenty minutes, go for 1 hour ride to perfect your driving while discovering the city.
HISTORIC COURSE 1H30
Total duration 2h00: 30 minutes of training + 1h30 ride
Go back over 2,000 years of history and discover the emblematic monuments of Lyon. From Sathonay to Vieux Lyon via the peninsula and the banks of the Rhone, the walk takes you to meet the different historic districts listed as World Heritage Unesco. A route over time that will make you discover the riches of the city.
GOLD HEAD COURSE 2H
Total duration 2h30: 30 minutes of training + 2h of ride
By the greenway of the banks of the Rhone, join the park of Tête d'Or and its 105 hectares of greenery. Whether it is the lake, the African plain or the botanical garden, you will discover the many surprises that the park holds. Finally, the Cité Internationale and the banks of the Saône will complete your walk. Nature close to the city center! We invite you to discover an innovative transport vehicle during a walk to visit several neighborhoods of Lyon."
