Ninety-six feet tall, so-called Gothic tower, built in the style of pointed arches and with an artificially built stone spiral staircase providing surprisingly vast vistas. The interior of the tall hall is adorned with the statue of the field marshal Karl, Prince of Schwarzenberg.

A unique structure, also called Rozhledna (Lookout Tower), is situated on the highest point of the park, 350 metres above sea level on the edge of Velká louka (Great Meadow). The building was initiated in 1793, and Jan Rudolf Czernin, the founder of the park and owner of Krásný Dvur Mansion, is believed to have taken part in its design.

Mohutná neogotická rozhledna patrí k našim nejstarším vyhlídkovým stavbám a je typickým príkladem romantických staveb vystavených bohatou šlechtou, v tomto prípade rodem Cernínu.

První novogotická stavba v Cesku a zároven jedna z prvních rozhleden u nás. To je o novogotický templ z konce 18. století, který stojí v zahrade státního zámku Krásný Dvur na Lounsku. Vyniká predevším výraznými vitrážovými okny. V zámeckém parku (vubec prvním anglickém parku v Cechách, z let 1783-93) naleznete pozoruhodných stavbicek víc: Panuv templ, Goethuv pavilon, Cínský pavilon, Cervenou myslivnu, Gloriet, obelisk (postavený na památku vítezství Rakouska nad Francií roku 1796) a samozrejme již tuto rozhlednu-Templ.

Její vznik se datuje do období po porážce Napoleona u Lipska 1815 a predstavuje památník zasvecený víteznému vojevudci Karlu Schwarzenbergovi. Jeho socha umístená uprostred templu pochází z roku 1847, jejím autorem byl Emanuel Max.
