The structure of Caritas Czech Republic follows the Church hierarchy. It is therefore based on 348 parish, town, a district Caritas organizations - these are what typically carry out the individual services and facilities (link to directory on Czech website). The size of these Caritas organizations varies - in some cases they are purely volunteer-based, in other cases they have more than one hundred employees and provide services in neighbouring communities as well.
At the international level Caritas Czech Republic is a member of the Caritas Internationalis and Caritas Europa networks, as well as a partner of the United Nations, the General Directorate of ECHO in the European Union and other international not-for-profit organisations.
In 1995, Caritas Czech Republic became a full member of Caritas Europa and the Caritas Internationalis confederation. Key to the success of Caritas Czech Republic has been the ongoing collaboration work with the Caritas network, such as Caritas Spain, Caritas Germany, Caritas Australia, Caritas Mongolia, Catholic Relief Services USA, Caritas Denmark, Caritas Italy, Cordaid Netherlands, CAFOD (Caritas England and Wales) and Caritas Ireland (Trócaire). In 2006 for example, in cooperation with Caritas Switzerland, Caritas Czech organised the construction of two schools destroyed by an earthquake in Pakistan.
Within the Czech environment Caritas Czech Republic collaborates with other partners particularly in the not-for-profit sector.

Velikost techto Charit se výrazne liší – nekdy je tvorí pouze malý pocet dobrovolníku, jindy více než sto zamestnancu pusobících i v okolních obcích.
