"There are two wooden buildings in Kyoto registered in the record books: To-ji, the tallest pagoda in Japan (57 meters tall) and Sanjusangen-do, the longest wooden structure in Japan, with a length of 120 meters and a width of 22 meters.

In terms of total surface, Sanjusangen-do comes quite close to the largest wooden structure in the world, which is the Daibutsuden of Todaiji, in Nara, which has a length of 57 meters and a width of 50 meters." (visit link)
