The mural depicts two of the earliest activities sponsored by the Lodge, dances and a baseball team. The Lodge was founded January 28, 1928; the first dance was held February 2, 1928; the baseball team was formed in the spring of the same year. Also depicted in the mural are Mr. and Mrs. Lee, of Gwynne, Alberta, the Lodge's first Governor and Senior Regent. Included in the mural is a hand written history of the Lodge which mentions the construction of this building in 1945.
The mural is signed "C. McGinnis", for Colleen McGinnis of
Caelin Artworks. As well as an painter and mural artist, Colleen is also a musician.
