Boat ramp area at SW 15th St and Portland Ave for the Oklahoma River Trails. This area is left to grow wild as a xeriscape, and is covered with wild sunflowers. The flower field goes east from Portland Ave to the Dell OKC Campus parking.

Going north from SW 15th St to the Oklahoma River, and east from Portland Ave to the Dell OKC Campus parking, this field of mainly sunflowers blooms most of the spring and summer, and even into the fall as long as rain comes to keep the plants alive. Some plants were over 6 foot high when I was there in September. Easy parking by the boat ramp. It is also access to the hiking/biking trail along the river.
