[GER] Die beiden ausgestellten 24-Pfünder-Geschütze vor dem Internationalen Maritimen Museum Hamburg gehörten zur Bewaffnung von der H.M.S. Foudroyant. Das 1798 auf der Marinewerft Plymouth gebaute Linienschiff diente Vizeadmiral Horation Nelson von 1799 bis 1801 als Flaggschiff.
[ENG] The two 24-pound guns on display in front of the International Maritime Museum in Hamburg were part of the armament of H.M.S. Foudroyant. Built in 1798 at the Plymouth naval shipyard, the liner served as the flagship of Vice Admiral Horation Nelson from 1799 to 1801.
