Fondulac Drive Overlook of Peoria, IL - Cityscapes on Waymarking.com

Fondulac Drive is a road that goes along the bluff on the east side of the Illinois River in East Peoria. The park district maintains a couple of overlooks where one can see the Illinois River valley and the skyline of Peoria, IL, on the west side of the river. There is another overlook about a half mile north of this one, but trees partially obscure the view there.

The overlooks are open after dark for views of the city lights, but please note that they close at 10:00 p.m. It is handicap accessible, in fact, one does not even have to get out of one's car.
