With Pipe and Book - Used Book Stores on Waymarking.com

With Pipe and Book is a Lake Placid, NY institution. Walking inside is like visiting your favorite uncles house (or what that should have been like)...it smells wonderful, rich pipe tobacco smells mixed with the smell of old books. Used paperbacks are dirt cheap, and can be found downstairs for the most part. Used hardcovers are more expensive than paperbacks (rightfully so), but are still only a few bucks for the most part. They also have some rare books and maps for sale.

If you are anywhere in the area, you simply have to stop in for a while.
