Seville's Military History Museum is in the interior corridor of the Plaza de España, between the Puerta de Aragón and the Torre Norte. The museum has inherited most of the resources of the Seville Artillery Armoury. The museum has been set up permanently and opened to the public at its current and definitive location in the Plaza de España, next to the Puerta de Aragón and near to the Headquarters building.
It has some 2,036 m2 of exhibition space, comprising more than twelve rooms displaying most of the five thousand items in its very varied collection, ranging from industrial archaeology to the machinery or war. Highlights include the rooms dedicated to the Artillery Armoury, or Maestranza, with a large collection of the portable firearms it manufactured, and examples of the trades that were carried out in the armoury, such as saddlery, carpentry, etc.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 9:30 am. to 2:00 pm.
 Open all year: Yes
