Het Millenniumbos van de Stichting Limburgs Landschap is ruim 5 ha groot. Het bos werd op 22 maart 200 opengesteld voor het publiek. Belangrijk onderdeel van het bos zijn de 365 zomereiken. Het ontwerp van het Millenniumbos is van Johan Canoot. In het ontwerp zijn een aantal zichtassen opgenomen. Zo richt de Lindenlaan zich op de kerk van Vroenhoven en vanaf de Beukencirkel heeft men zicht op verschillende markante gebouwen van Maastricht. De Beukencirkel bestaat uit 20 Beuken die 20 eeuwen symboliseren. Op het plateau bij het bos zijn een viertal bosjes te zien. Hierin zitten de verluchtingsschachten verscholen van het gangenstelsel onder de grond. Dit gangenstelsel is ontstaan tijdens de ontginning van mergelblokken.

The Millennium Forest of the Limburg Landscape Foundation is over 5 hectares. The forest was opened to the public on March 22, 200. An important part of the forest is the 365 summer oaks. The design of the Millennium forest is from Johan Canoot. A number of sight axes are included in the design.
