Devon Energy Corporation (NYSE: DVN) is an independent natural gas, natural gas liquids, and petroleum exploration company focused on onshore exploration and production in North America. The company is headquartered in the 50-story Devon Energy Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Founded in 1971, the company became a public corporation in 1988.
Construction began on the Tower on October 6, 2009, and the building was completed in October 2012. The tallest structure in Oklahoma City (as of this date), the Devon Energy Center dominates the OKC skyline. While most of the Tower is devoted to corporate offices, their is a restaurant named Vast on the 49th and 50th floors that is open to the public.
