EN: The Thielle Bridge is a steel truss bridge on the railway line Bern-Neuchâtel. The bridge crosses the Thielle Canal, which was built in the 1860s and connects Lake Neuchâtel with Lake Bienne.
The single-lane bridge is around 80 meters long and was built in 1901. Since the 1920s, the track is electrified.
On the north side of the bridge is a combined bike and pedestrian bridge with wooden floor, this part is outside the truss and newer than the rest of the bridge.
DE: Die Zihlbrücke ist eine Stahl-Fachwerkbrücke auf der Eisenbahnlinie Bern-Neuenburg. Die Brücke überquert den Zihlkanal, der in den 1860er Jahren erbaut wurde und den Neuenburgersee mit dem Bielersee verbindet.
Die einspurige Brücke ist rund 80 Meter lang und wurde 1901 erbaut. Seit den 1920er Jahren ist die Strecke elektrifiziert.
An der Nordseite der Brücke ist ein kombinierter Rad- und Fussübergang mit Holzboden angebrach, dieser Teil befindet sich ausserhalb des Fachwerks und ist einiges jünger als der Rest der Brücke.
FR: Le pont Thielle est un pont en treillis d'acier sur la ligne de chemin de fer Berne-Neuchâtel. Le pont traverse le canal de Thielle, construit dans les années 1860 et reliant le lac de Neuchâtel au lac de Bienne.
Le pont à une seule voie a une longueur d’environ 80 mètres et a été construit en 1901. Depuis les années 1920, le circuit est électrifié.
Sur le côté nord du pont se trouve une passerelle à bicyclette et piétons combinée à un plancher en bois. Cette partie se trouve à l’extérieur de la structure en acier et est beaucoup plus jeune que le reste du pont.
