EN: This old car stands in the parking lot of the small private zoo Rothaus in the west of Gampelen.
Apart from the missing drawbar and the peeling paint the car is in good condition. It was probably used to transport bulk cargo such as gravel. In any case, it looks like when the cargo area can be opened against the bottom. Today, the car is used for decoration and is provided with flower boxes at the front and back.
DE: Dieser alte Wagen steht dem Parkplatz des kleinen Privatzoos Rothaus im Westen von Gampelen.
Abgesehen von der fehlenden Deichsel und der abblätternden Farbe ist der Wagen in einem guten Zustand. Er wurde vermutlich zum Transport von Schüttgut, wie etwa Kies, verwendet. Jedenfalls sieht es so aus, wie wenn die Ladefläche auch gegen unten geöffnet werden kann. Heute dient der Wagen zur Dekoration und ist vorne und hinten mit Blumenkisten versehen.
