The Central Oklahoma Humane Society is the largest animal-related non-profit in the state of Oklahoma. Their web site states that their goal is eliminating euthanasia in our community, and claims to have increased the adoption rate of abandoned pets from 25% to 75% over the last several years. The Humane Society also offers a spay / neuter clinic. They are an independent 501(c)3 non-profit that receives no government funding or tax dollars.
This office accepts personal pet drop offs on a very limited basis (by application only) and does not accept "lost pet" drop offs; the pets they offer for adoption come mainly from city animal shelters.
