World War 2 RCAF Memorial - Riverwalk, Windsor ON - World War II Memorials / Monuments on Waymarking.com

The riverwalk park along the Detroit River in Windsor, Ontario, is a relatively new parks project by the city. It is, however, greatly appreciated by residents and visitors alike, as it offers a gorgeous place to exercise, socialize, play and, of course, explore the local history.
This monument is near Ouelette Ave. and is a lovely memorial to those from the area who served in the Air Force during World War 2.
Interestingly, this is the same group of people being honored at the Jackson Park World War Two Memorial, and was even placed by the same people.
