Some big differences between now and this postcard from circa 1907. Namely you can see the trees are then newly planted, Trinity Church is much smaller, and the war memorials are not present then.

Memorial Square is also known as Veterans Memorial Park. It is the oldest park in Summerside and contains many connections to the history of the community and the province.

It was created in 1889 and became a designated site in 2010.
