EN: This fountain stands in the main street of the old town of Avenches. It has a square stone basin with a wooden cover around the whole trough. In the center of the fountain there is an obelisk of about five meters height with two faucets. The side of the obelisk has a fainted inscription; Icould only read the year 1822.
FR: Cette fontaine se trouve dans la rue principale de la vieille ville d'Avenches. Il a un bassin en pierre carré avec une couverture en bois autour de l'auge entière. Au centre de la fontaine il y a un obélisque d'environ cinq mètres de hauteur avec deux robinets. Le côté de l'obélisque a une inscription évanouie; Je pourrais seulement lire l'année 1822.
