Portugal dos Pequenitos (Portugal of the "Little-ones")is a Theme Park / Museum with with child-sized models of typical Portuguese houses, mansions, temples and palaces.
Portugal dos Pequenitos is the work of Professos Bissaya Barreto and was projected by the architect Cassiano Branco. It´s located in Coimbra, in the center of Portugal since 1940. We believe that from all the Museums and Theme parks dedicated to the children this is the most interesting and the most visited.
Here the children can learn about the country, it´s characteristics, the diferent styles of Portuguese houses from North to South and also from the former colonies, the monuments, castles, palaces and also the aspects of life itself in the diferent parts of the country.
It has 3 sections:
-The "Little Ones" Village (Aldeira dos pequenitos) is dedicated to the Portuguese regional houses and recriates the environment of Portuguese villages from north tou south.
-Monuments of Portugal (Portugal Monumental) represents the major Portuguese Monuments
-Overseas (Além Mar) represents the former colonies Angola, Mozambique, São Tomé e Principe, Guiné, Cabo Verde, Brazil, East Timor.,India and Macau.
Children love it.

Free for children up to 5 years

You can visit the park only (wich includes all the child-sized models) or the park and the museums.
