Cleland Wildlife Park has been a major tourist attraction in South Australia since 1967.
The Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources (DEWNR) is committed to creating a sustainable environment that can be enjoyed by everyone both now and into the future.
Cleland plays an important role in this strategy by helping visitors connect with animals in their natural environment.
By providing an immersive nature experience, with a limited number of enclosures and the chance to get closer to some of our state’s most iconic animals, our visitors will learn more about the importance of conservation
The health of our animals is our number one priority and our keepers have years of experience in managing Cleland’s population.
The park is a member of the South Australian Tourism Hall of Fame after winning the 'Significant Tourism Attraction' category at the 2007, 2008 and 2009 South Australian Tourism Awards.
