A trio of radio towers and a microwave tower stand on a rise just to the east of Old Coulee Road, each with its support building. The tallest of the four is the transmission tower for radio station KEYG-FM, Grand Coulee.
Broadcasting a classic rock music format, KEYG is currently owned by Wheeler Broadcasting, Inc. and features programing from AP Radio and Dial Global. The transmission tower is about 10 miles south of the town of Grand Coulee, supplying entertainment to a wide area. Sending out a signal of 100 kilowatts from this 303 meter (994 ft) tower, KEYG has a pretty far reach for an FM station under normal atmospheric conditions, and a huge reach under the proper (abnormal) conditions.
