Verzorgingsplaats Den Ruygen Hoek is een verzorgingsplaats gelegen aan de A4 Amsterdam – Pernis/Knooppunt Benelux, tussen afrit 3 en 4, nabij Nieuw-Vennep in de Haarlemmermeer. Het is een voor Nederlandse begrippen grote rust- en recreatieplaats langs de snelweg waar de reiziger niet alleen aan beide rijrichtingen kan tanken (bij tankstations van Shell en BP), maar ook keuze heeft uit verschillende restaurants, kan overnachten en zelfs winkelen. De verzorgingsplaatsen aan beide zijden van de weg zijn met elkaar verbonden door een loopbrug met diverse horecagelegenheden. Aan de oostzijde van de A4 bevindt zich een hotel van Van der Valk. Ook is er een vestiging van een herenmodezaak.
De naam "Den Ruygen Hoek" geeft aan dat het hier vroeger, voor de inpoldering van de Haarlemmermeer, volgens de overlevering behoorlijk kon spoken.

Resting area Den Ruygen Hoek is a service place located on the A4 Amsterdam - Pernis / Node Benelux, between exit 3 and 4, near Nieuw-Vennep in the Haarlemmermeer. It is a large place for rest and recreation along the Dutch motorway, where the traveler can not only fill up on both directions (at petrol stations of Shell and BP), but also has a choice of restaurants, can stay overnight and even go shopping. The service places on both sides of the road are connected by a walkway with various catering establishments. On the east side of the A4 there is a Van der Valk hotel. There is also a branch of a men's fashion store.
