This clock is located in the Tower of the building formerly used by the Royal Guard of the Court in the Palace of Queluz, known as the "Portuguese Versailles".
The building known as Torre do Relógio (Clock Tower)was used by the Palace servents and guards when the kings were staying in the palace during the summer.
The building is now one of the Pousadas de Portugal (Inn´s of Portugal).
