This station dates back to 1923 but they only began using this 'Springstein' transmission tower on October 15, 1993. The tower is about 3.5 km north of Springstein MB and about 26.3 km west of their studio at 541 Portage Ave in downtown Winnipeg.
The power is 50,000 watts on a Canadian clear-channel frequency so most of southern Manitoba is well covered by the signal.
