Maybe not trophy fishing, but this remote lake and the stream that outlets it was memorable to one little boy.

The high Sierra is a remarkable place to fish. We've backpacked in to this lake a couple of times and the fishing has been pretty darn good. This year marked the first time we went in with my son and he was not disappointed. He caught eight fish in the space of about 45 minutes.

The fish in the lake and in the stream are hatchery fish and is stocked once a year. We were catching fish in the range of 7-10 inches, but we saw others catching some Rainbows on the order of 12 inches also.

The view aint bad either .
