The Cristo Rey Church, is the first Catholic church built in Cancun in 1972. It is surrounded by two parks: the palapas park and the park "Lumpa Kul" better known as the park of the hippies. Masses vary in time and can be used for weddings, baptisms, first communions, XV years, in addition to offering catechism classes.

The simple stone baptismal font has a rectangular basin. It is located to the left of the altar next to the big crucifix.
